A good-value, mature, Merlot-based Bordeaux that's for drinking now, showcasing savoury, seasoned leather notes alongside classic Claret flavours of black berry fruit and graphite. The tannins are a little drying but there's enough fruit in support and a welcome cassis freshness on the finish.
