Includes recently purchased parcels (4.7ha) near Le Pin. Fragrant, long and fresh with a little more weight and breadth than in the past.

Powerful with touches of truffle, chocolate, slate, crushed stone, damson puree and liquorice. I love this, totally appealing and still with tannic grip and a gorgeous wash of mint through the finish. Very much in an appealingly open phase and ready to go.

Wines from this property have been gaining in complexity under scrupulous Moueix vineyard management. Quite powerful, rich and long, but short of the real class of a better vintage.
